Pure black with one tiny white spot, Black Rose has it all together in size, dairy character and
expecially in  general appearance.  She had a great year in 2008 with 2 RGCH wins (including
Oregon State Fair) her only times shown that year, and an Appraisal score of 91.  She and her
daughter Black Velvet have been 1st place Dam and Daughter at Oregon State Fairs.  Black Velvet
Appraised 90 at 3 years old, and had an E mammary score even as a yearling.  Another Black Rose
daughter,  Black Pearl (dam of our doe Garnet LA 90, who was GCH and Best Udder at Oregon
State Fair in 2010) was 2005 JCH at Oregon State Fair.  Black Rose is bred to Dragon for May.
Kids $600.

Enya is a medium sized doe, long, and wide with ideal rear legs, and and excellent  topline and rump.
She has a very high and particularly wide rear udder, which scored 40 in rear udder height on
Appraisal, and  a smooth, tight fore attachment with nice teats.  Shown only once as a kid,  Enya
placed 1st out of 18  in the Junior Doe class at the Oregon State Fair.  She competed with our huge
outstanding does Inuit and Cascadia for years, but finally finished her GCH at age 9 for us.  We have
3 of her lovely daughters here---Galadriel  LA  91,  Lothorien  LA 89,  and young Amadala  LA
86.   Enya is bred to Dragon for late May.   Kids $700.

Luna is a very pretty doe, smooth and level with a lot of width throughout, a well attached udder, and
enormous ears.  She generally places in the top couple of places at shows.  She and her dam
Cascadia have place 2nd Dam and Daughter 3 times at Oregon State Fairs, right behind our other
does Black Velvet and Black Rose in huge classes.  Luna's sons through AI by our deceased herd
sire  ++*B Goldthwaite Jose Carrerres  LA  89,  Lunar Eclipse (in Illinois) and Moon Dragon in our
herd,  have been at or right near the top of the ADGA Young Sire Development list this past year.
We have used Dragon on many of our does this year.    And Luna herself is bred to him for early
June.  Kids $500.

Emerald is a very stylish doe.  She is so smooth, level and dairy with a lovely, highly attached,
productive udder.  Emerald won RGCH at the 2010 Oregon State Fair this year as a 3 year old.
And she was JCH there in 2008 as a dry yearling.  She is half sister (same dam) as our SGCH Enya
LA  90 and Ireland  LA  90.   Her sire's dam is SGCH Cascadia LA  91.  We expect further
improvement and achievements as she matures.   Emerald is bred to Dragon for May.  Kids $500.
Prairie Fire Salishan

DAM:  Prairie Fire Salish
   DS:  Jeddiah  LA  89
DD:  SGCH Moonjumpers Inuit    4*M   LA 91

Salishan is extra long bodied, smoothly blended, level and extremely dairy, although slow to mature.
She has an extremely soft textured, milky udder, which is well attached.  Salishan was shown in 2009
at Oregon State Fair and placed 5th in a huge class of 2 year olds, her only time shown.  She
freshened in December and didn't show or appraise in 2010.  Salishan is bred to Dragon for  April.
One doe kid reserved.   Kids $400.

DAM:  Prairie Fire Black Velvet   LA 90

Iris has been a promising first freshening 2 year old this past year.  She has a well attached udder that
should fill out even more in the future.   And she is a very good milker,  although carried extra weight
for appraisal, which is probably the reason for her +  in dairy character.  She is level and smooth and
stands particularly wide throughout.  Iris is bred to Dragon for May.   Kids $300.
Prairie Fire Coconut

DOB    4-19-08       Brown, white poll and chin

SD:  GCH Saada Tumba Al Hattal  *M  LA 92
DAM:  Prairie Fire Mystical Cocoa   LA  90

Coconut was another first freshening 2 year old in 2010.   She is very like our other Rogue daughter
Iris,  quite wide and level, with a well attached udder.  Coconut is bred to Dragon for May.  Kids
$300.
Prairie Fire Wild Strawberry

DOB    6-20-09                                  Light roan, white ears

SIRE:  *B Prairie Fire Inuit Dreamer   LA 88
   SS:  Jeddiah  LA  89
SD:  SGCH Moonjumpers Inuit  4*M  LA  91
DAM:  SGCH Prairie Fire Cascadia  4*M  LA  91

Strawberry didn't get appraised this past summer because her registration papers were delayed at
ADGA, unfortunately.  She is a lovely, stylish, dairy type young doe with a nicely attached udder.
She is  very productive, and still milking well as we head into this next spring.   We have had some
trouble getting Strawberry to settle this year.  We think she is bred to Dragon for early July.
Prairie Fire Star Meridian

DD:  Prairie Fire Lothlorien  LA  89

Meridian will be a first freshening 2 year old in 2011.  She has exceptionally beautiful markings, and
is stylish, smooth and level, as are the other Mountain Man daughters.  Meridian is bred to Dragon
for May.  Kids $250.
