Cascadia is still looking great and is quite productive at almost 13 years old! She is long, tall,
wide, very level over her topling and rump, smoothly blended, and dairy with a high, wide, soft
textured, lovely udder with excellent teat size and placement. She has an undershot jaw. Her 91
Linear Appraisal score included E's on shoulders, front legs, back, rump, and udder texture. She
was Best Doe in Show of all breeds at the 2006 Oregon State Fair. We entered her again there in
2009 in the Champion Challenge class when she was 11. She placed 3rd out of 5 does, and the
other does were half her age. We have used her deceased son Mountain Man, and still have 2
daughters of hers here, Luna and Wild Strawberry. Cascadia is bred to her grandson Dragon for
late May.
Kids $1000. First doe kid and first buck kid reserved for our herd.

Brett is very long boddied, tall, sharp, and dairy with a long, level rump. She has a lovely, well
attached udder with a particularly high rear udder. We can hardly believe Brett scored a V in Dairy
Character, because she is so extremely long and dairy. Probably because she was carrying some
extra weight at the time of appraisal. She has won many first placings at shows as a milker, including
3 times in the older doe classes at Oregon State Fair. Also she has been many times part of Jose's
winning Sr. Get of Sire classes and our champion dairy herd classes. Brett proved her productivity
by winning the Oregon State Fair DHIR Herrington Award for top lifetime Nubian production, 3
years in a row, in spite of being only 5 to 7 years old. Brett is bred to Dragon for May. One doe
kid reserved. Kids $500.

We have her daughter Pomegranate LA 89 VEVE in our herd also. Velvet has had a problem

Heron has a very elegant body, so sharp, and dairy. She is beautifully blended, level and refined. In
2008, as a 2nd freshening 3 year old, Heron won 3 first placings and a RGCH. The appraiser
leaned her scores down, though she said, because Heron was only a second freshener. Then the
past 2 years she freshened in early winter, and didn't look her best for fairs. She didn't get
reappraised yet either. Hopefully, she will this year, because she is one of our top favorite does,
even though her Linear scores are not in the 90 at this point. Heron is bred to Jeddiah for March.
