Inuit is a stunning doe, and extremely tall.  Elegant and graceful, she is deep, wide, level, has a long level rump, excellent feet and legs, huge ears, and a high, wide, tightly attached and very  productive udder.  She does, however, have an undershot jaw.  Inuit has been Best of Breed at 2 Oregon State Fairs.  We have had trouble getting long lactations on her because she kept freshening in the summer, even once in August!   Her daughter Athene has placed 1st every time shown as a milker, including 1st yearling in 2004  and 1st 2 year old in 2005 at Oregon State Fairs.  Inuit and Athene have been 1st place Dam and Daughter there both years as well.   Inuit is bred to Jedi for late April.   Kids $1000.

Cascasdia is long, tall, very level, and dairy with a high, wide, soft textured, lovely udder with excellent teat size and placement.  She has a slightly undershot jaw.  Cascadia has one milking GCH leg.  She was RGCH  at the 2003 Oregon State Fair, and then was 1st place aged doe (7 and over) there in 2004 and 2005, as well as part of our 1st place Dairy Herd and Jose's  1st place Sr. Get of Sire there for several years.  She is bred to Jedi for early May.  Kids  $800.

Rosie is long, very wide and very level, with a smoothly attached, high, and especially wide udder with an extended fore attachment.   As a first freshening 2 year old, she earned a  milking GCH leg at a club show and also placed 1st 2 year old at Oregon State Fair.  Then she had a false pregnancy, and took a year off from milking.  We have never been able to get her to shed the extra weight she gained that year.  We quit showing her and have been drying her off early.  But she still has what it takes to Appraise well.  Rosie is bred to Jedi for late March.  Kids  $700.

Erin is long, level, smooth and wide with a very well attached udder.  She has an especially high rear udder attachment, about an inch from her vulva.  She was Appraised fat and dry, and we were particularly disappointed in her udder score.  Erin has milking GCH and RGCH  wins and many first placeings to her credit.  Her daughter Enya (by Inuit's brother Kodiak) has a milking RGCH and Appraised even higher than Erin at 89 VVEE.   In the rear udder photo above,  Erin is on the right and Enya on the left.  Erin is bred to Jedi for late February.    Kids $600.

India is a very flashy, eye catching doe, and not just for her pretty markings.  She is stylish and dairy, wide, level, deep and smoothly blended.  As you can see in the photo, she has a well attached udder.   It was Appraised half full the 1st year and scored by the stingy appraiser the 2nd year.  India is two years old in the side view photo on the left, and a yearling in the rear view photo on the right.  Shown a number of times as a milker and a kid, she has many 1st placings and has never placed less than 2nd at shows.  She was 1st yearling milker at the Oregon State Fair and part of Starfire's 1st place Produce of Dam ther in 2002.  And  was 2nd place 2 year millker the following year.   An injury has kept her from showing in 2004 and 2005.    India is bred to Jedi for early March kids.    Kids  $600.

Brett is very long, tall, smoothly blended, refined and dairy, with a long level rump.  She has a lovely well attached and particularly wide udder.  This is her 2 year old photo.  She is deeper than this now.  Brett generally places at or near the top of her show classes.  Many times she has placed 2nd to India.   She placed 2nd 3 year milker at both our large county fair and Oregon State Fair in 2004.  And she placed 1st 4 year old at both of those fairs in 2005.  She has also been a part of our 1st place Dairy Herd and Jose's 1st place Sr. Get of Sire winning at Oregon State Fair and elsewhere over the past couple of  years.    Danu, her doe kid this year by Jedi, is exceptionally pretty and has been retained in lur herd.  We have repeated her breeding to Jedi.   Brett is due in early March.   Kids  $500.

Noble is smoothly blended, wide, level and quite dairy, but she has been  a slow maturing doe.  She was sold to a friend as a kid, and we reacquired her with her daughter Naomi in early 2004.  She is a full younger sister to Erin, and has a similar high, wide, tightly attached udder,  although Noble's teats are placed farther out towards her legs.  She is 3 years old in the side view photo, and a yearling in the rear view photo here.  Noble has generally placed in the 1st 3 placings at shows as a milker.  At one fair when she was a  yearling, she did place 1st over both India and Brett, who usually went 1st and 2nd.  She  was 2nd place 4 year milker at the 2005 Oregon State Fair.    Noble is bred to Jedi for mid-April.   Kids  $400.

Legacy is quite long, sharp, level, smoothly blended and dairy, and she is working on getting as tall as her dam Blue Bonnet, who is the tallest in our herd of extra long, tall Nubians.  She has a well attached and exceptionally soft textured udder.  Legacy won a Junior Champion leg as a dry yearling at our county fair.   As a first freshening 2 year old, she placed 2nd at our county fair and 3rd at Oregon State Fair.  A minor health problem kept her from showing in 2005.  She is bred to Jedi for  late April.   Kids $400.

"Lucy"  is Inuit's full sister, 2 years younger.  She has a very similar body to Inuit's also---long, tall, wide and elegant, and now finally she is as gigantic as well, although does not have an undershot jaw.  She was a first freshening 2 year old in a 4H herd when we  acquired her in early 2003, and had placed Best Doe in Show at the largest 4H show in Oregon at our county fair that year.  She had looked great then, and we were thrilled to get her.  But unfortunately, she has had udder problems since she freshened here.  We have had to dry her off early, and  she hasn't had enough milk to show.   This has been a major disappointment.  She is easily one of our very best does.  Lucy is bred to Jedi for early March, and we have a doe kid reserved for ourselves from this one!  Kids $600.

Pearl is long and dairy, tall, correct and very stylish.  She was Junior Champion at both our county fair and Oregon State Fair in 2004.  Her udder looks promising, although she freshened with mastitis on one side, and so got dried off very early.  Pearl's Appraisal score angered us about the most of all the problems in this year's Appraisal session here.  We have retained both of her Jedi daughters, Garnet and Almandine, this year because we are so impressed by them.  And we have repeated the breeding to Jedi.  Pearl is due in late March.   Kids $400.

Xena the Warrior Princess is as long, tall, dairy and correct as her twin sister Pearl.  Her udder is very well attached with an especially high, wide rear.  We also dried  her up somewhat early,  and she did not make a DHIR record.   Xena has never been shown, but we sure do expect to do so this coming year.  We are excited to see a second freshening on this doe.  She did not get Appraised either, because the appraiser could not read her tattoo.  Xena is bred to David for late April.  Kids  $400.
