Inuit is a stunning doe, and extremely tall. Elegant and graceful, she is deep, wide, level, has a long
level rump, excellent feet and legs, huge ears, and a high, wide, tightly attached and very productive
udder. She does, however, have an undershot jaw. Inuit has been Best of Breed at 2 Oregon State
Fairs. We have had trouble getting long lactations on her because she kept freshening in the
summer, even once in August! Her daughter Athene has placed 1st every time shown as a milker,
including 1st yearling in 2004 and 1st 2 year old in 2005 at Oregon State Fairs. Inuit and Athene
have been 1st place Dam and Daughter there both years as well.

Rosie is long, very wide and very level, with a smoothly attached, high, and especially wide udder
with an extended fore attachment. As a first freshening 2 year old, she earned a milking GCH leg
at a club show and also placed 1st 2 year old at Oregon State Fair.

Erin is long, level, smooth and wide with a very well attached udder. She has an especially high rear
udder attachment, about an inch from her vulva. She was Appraised fat and dry, and we were
particularly disappointed in her udder score. Erin has milking GCH and RGCH wins and many first
placeings to her credit. Her daughter Enya (by Inuit's brother Kodiak) has a milking RGCH and
Appraised even higher than Erin at 89 VVEE. In the rear udder photo above, Erin is on the right
and Enya on the left.

Noble is smoothly blended, wide, level and quite dairy, but she has been a slow maturing doe. She
was sold to a friend as a kid, and we reacquired her with her daughter Naomi in early 2004. She is
a full younger sister to Erin, and has a similar high, wide, tightly attached udder, although Noble's
teats are placed farther out towards her legs. She is 3 years old in the side view photo, and a
yearling in the rear view photo here. Noble has generally placed in the 1st 3 placings at shows as a
milker. At one fair when she was a yearling, she did place 1st over both India and Brett, who
usually went 1st and 2nd. She was 2nd place 4 year milker at the 2005 Oregon State Fair.

"Lucy" is Inuit's full sister, 2 years younger. She has a very similar body to Inuit's also---long, tall,
wide and elegant, and now finally she is as gigantic as well, although does not have an undershot
jaw. She was a first freshening 2 year old in a 4H herd when we acquired her in early 2003, and
had placed Best Doe in Show at the largest 4H show in Oregon at our county fair that year.

Starfire is an exceptionally striking doe. She is very long bodied, tall, deep, level, and smoothly
blended with correct legs, a well attached, wide udder and huge ears. Shown 6 times as a young
milker, she placed 1st all 6 times, including 1st yearling at Oregon State Fair. This is her yearling
photo. She has since then had some breeding problems and some udder problems that have kept
her from continuing her show career. But Starfire has given us some of the best offspring ever
produced in our herd. Her Produce of Dam placed 1st at the 2002 Oregon State Fair. Daughters
Cascadia and India have shown and Appraised very well as milkers.

Blue is probably the tallest doe in our herd of large Nubians, although Inuit and Elusive are pretty
close. She is extremely long, sharp, dairy, and smoothly blended. She Appraised E on head,
shoulders, back and rump, We haven't shown her since she was a kid. She might do pretty well,
but has always had to compete in the same age class with Inuit and Enya, so we left her home. Blue
has instead proven herself in production and in her daughters, and now in Appraisal. Her daughters
in our herd and others have won many 1st places as junior does, including JCHs and BJIS, and also
as milkers, including Oregon State Fair.
